Terms & Conditions

Updated 7/21/26

Shinier Detailing LLC ("Shinier," "we," "us") provides mobile detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating services. This document explains how we operate, what we guarantee, and what we expect from clients. By booking any service with Shinier — online, by phone, or through a representative — you agree to everything in this document.

The sections most likely to affect you day-to-day are Deposit & Booking Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Service Guarantee & Satisfaction Policy below. Please read those closely.

IMPORTANT — Refund Policy Summary: We will always offer a free redo before any refund. If you decline a reasonable redo offer, the maximum refund available is 20% of that portion's value. See Section 7 for full details.

1. Deposit & Booking Policy

A deposit is required to confirm every appointment. The deposit is 10% of the quoted service price, due at booking. For example, a $249 detail requires a $24.90 deposit, and a $1,500 ceramic coating requires a $150 deposit. The deposit is non- refundable but is always credited toward your final invoice.

● The deposit is charged at the time of booking.

● If you reschedule with reasonable notice, your deposit transfers to the new appointment at no additional cost.

● If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, or fail to appear ("no-show"), the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook.

● For ceramic coating and paint correction packages over $1,500, we may require a second progress deposit before the appointment date. This will always be disclosed and agreed to at booking

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand plans change. If you need to reschedule, contact us as early as possible so we can offer your slot to another client and keep our schedule accurate.

● More than 24 hours' notice: reschedule freely, deposit transfers automatically.

● Less than 24 hours' notice, or no-show: deposit is forfeited per Section 1.

● Repeated cancellations (3 or more in a rolling 12-month period) may require full prepayment before we schedule any future appointment.

● We reserve the right to reschedule an appointment because of weather, road conditions, equipment failure, or technician illness, with no penalty to you. We will always contact you as soon as possible with a new time.

3. Payment Terms

Full payment is due the day service is completed, before the vehicle is released back into regular use, unless other terms were agreed to in writing in advance (for example, fleet or dealership accounts).

● We accept PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, all major cards, and check.

● Invoices not paid same-day are considered past due. Past-due balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% annually) and the client is responsible for any collection or legal fees incurred.

● Refusal or failure to pay voids the Service Guarantee in Section 8 and any redo or discount becomes solely at Shinier's discretion.

● Chargebacks or bank disputes filed for services actually rendered and accepted (see Section 9, Post-Service Sign- Off) will be contested with our documentation, and may result in the client being invoiced separately for collection costs.

4. Vehicle Access & On-Site Requirements

Shinier is a mobile service. To perform work safely and to the standard you're paying for, we need reasonable access at the service location.

● A paved or gravel surface with room to work, ideally in shade, free of low-hanging branches.

● Access to an outdoor water spigot and a standard electrical outlet within 100 feet, unless our team confirms in advance that we're self-sufficient for that appointment.

● If required access isn't available, we may need to reschedule or charge a trip/setup fee, at our discretion.

● Please remove personal belongings, cash, and valuables from the vehicle before we arrive. We do not move or handle personal belongings, car seats, or booster seats, for safety and liability reasons — car seats should be removed before the appointment.

● If our technician must wait more than 15 minutes for the vehicle to be cleared or made accessible, we may charge for the lost time at our discretion.

● Please stay at least 10–15 feet from the active work area. Hoses, cords, and equipment create trip hazards — get our attention from a distance if you need to speak with us.

5. Vehicle Condition, Stains, Odors & Hazardous Material

We ask clients to disclose the condition of the vehicle honestly at booking, including pet hair, heavy staining, odors, mold, or any biological or hazardous material. This lets us quote accurately and bring the right equipment.

● Additional fees apply to pet hair, sand, heavy staining, odor treatment, and hazardous material removal. These will be confirmed with you before work begins — no surprise charges after the fact.

● Removal of pet hair, sand, deep-set stains, and odors is not guaranteed. We use professional-grade equipment and will always do our best, but some conditions are beyond full correction.

● Odor elimination beyond normal cleaning may require ozone treatment, quoted separately.

● If our technician discovers undisclosed hazardous material (urine, feces, mold, chemical spills, etc.) upon arrival, we reserve the right to charge a hazard fee, decline to continue the job, or require partial payment for work already performed, at our discretion.

● We are not responsible for damage to already-compromised surfaces — buttons, trim, headliners, brake dust baked into wheels, or chemically etched paint (bird droppings, tree sap, tar) that existed before our service. We'll point out these conditions during pre-inspection.

We Are a Detailing Company, Not a Restoration Company: Detailing deep-cleans and protects a vehicle in its current condition — it does not reverse years of neglect, sun damage, deep-set staining, or worn/torn upholstery. Older vehicles or vehicles with heavy, long-term neglect will look significantly better, but should not be expected to look brand new or "off the lot." We will always give you an honest, realistic expectation of results during the pre-inspection before work begins, based on the vehicle's actual condition.

6. Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating Terms

Paint correction (1-stage or 2-stage) improves the appearance of swirls, scratches, and oxidation but does not guarantee complete defect removal, since results depend on the vehicle's existing clear coat thickness and condition. We'll be upfront about expected results during the pre-inspection.

Ceramic coating protection is backed by Shinier's own coverage — this is not a manufacturer-issued warranty. Coverage terms depend on the package purchased:

● Ultimate Protection package: full coverage under Shinier's warranty is included automatically for the length of the tier purchased (1, 3, 5, or 8 years), along with free reapplication if coverage conditions are met.

● Essential coating packages: warranty coverage is active only while the client is enrolled in and current on an active Shinier maintenance plan. If the maintenance plan lapses or is canceled, warranty coverage pauses until the plan is reinstated, and does not apply retroactively to any period the plan was inactive.

● Warranty coverage is void if the vehicle is washed with automated brush car washes, treated with incompatible aftermarket products, or if the coating is damaged by an at-fault collision, other shops' work, or neglect.

● To file a warranty claim, contact us at 706-770-4041 with photos and your original invoice number. We'll schedule an inspection before approving any warranty work.

7. Service Guarantee & Satisfaction Policy

This is not a satisfaction-guarantee or expectation contract. Our guarantee covers the craftsmanship and completeness of the service as ordered — it does not cover a change of mind or a subjective feeling that the service "wasn't worth it" after the work has been completed and accepted.

● If there is a clear, demonstrable issue with craftsmanship or a portion of the ordered service was not completed, we will redo or refund that specific portion at our cost.

● Any concern must be raised at the time of post-service inspection, or within 24 hours of completion, with photos where applicable. Concerns raised after 24 hours are not guaranteed a redo or refund, though we'll always work with you in good faith.

We will always offer a redo before a refund. If a client declines a reasonable offer to redo the unsatisfactory portion, any refund is limited to 20% of that portion's value.

● This guarantee covers only the services included in your original order or any additional service Shinier specifically authorized in writing. Work outside that scope is at the client's own risk.

● Once you accept the vehicle at post-service inspection (Section 8), the job is considered complete and satisfactory. This does not waive your right to report a genuine craftsmanship defect within the 24-hour window above.

8. Post-Service Inspection & Sign-Off

Before we leave, we walk the vehicle with you and point out the finished work. We ask that you inspect the vehicle at this time and confirm you're satisfied, verbally or with a signature/text confirmation, before we consider the job complete.

● This walkthrough is your opportunity to flag anything you're not happy with, while we're still on-site and able to address it immediately.

● If you're not available for a walkthrough, photos of the completed work will be sent to you and are considered your record of the vehicle's condition at handoff.

● Declining a walkthrough does not extend the 24-hour reporting window in Section 7.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with an invoice or believe there's an error, contact us in writing at [email] within 3 days of the invoice date, with a written explanation of the issue. We'll investigate and correct any confirmed error. Disputes not raised within 3 days are considered accepted.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any legal action arising from services rendered will be brought in the county where the service was performed.

10. Photo & Video Rights

By booking with Shinier, you allow us to photograph and video your vehicle before, during, and after service for marketing and portfolio use. We will not use your name, license plate, or home address without your separate permission. If you'd prefer your vehicle not be used in marketing, let us know before your appointment and we'll accommodate that request — internal training use may still apply.

11. Liability

Shinier is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal belongings left in the vehicle, or for loss due to fire, theft, accident, or other causes outside our reasonable control. We are not responsible for consequential or incidental damages related to our services. Any existing damage, cracks, or imperfections in paint or trim may become more visible once cleaned or coated — this is a function of the surface's prior condition, not our workmanship.

12. General Terms

● We reserve the right to refuse service to any vehicle or client, for any reason, including safety concerns or prior unresolved disputes.

● Quoted prices are estimates based on the information available at booking and are subject to adjustment after in- person inspection; any change will be confirmed with you before work begins.

● We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your appointment governs that service.

● If any provision of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.

By booking a service with Shinier Detailing LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
